This article aims to understand the perception of agents who work in the Military Police of Bahia (PMBA) about the impacts of measures adopted by the government with a view to preventing COVID-19. In another band, this study provides a brief overview of lethal victimization by the disease. This is a cross-sectional study based on a questionnaire with 15 objective questions in the opinion research pattern - survey, addressed to military police officers working in the PMBA, characterizing the intentional method of non-probabilistic sampling. The survey showed that, during the pandemic, the daily lives of these professionals underwent profound changes. However, despite the changes and adverse impacts of the crisis caused by the new coronavirus, the military police consider that their corporation is prepared to act in the pandemic scenario. In general terms, the results show that the respondents agree with the measures adopted, both by the governments (federal and state) and by the PMBA, in order to contain the advances of the effects of the pandemic.
