O OBJETIVO DE DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL Nº 16 E A GARANTIA DOS DIREITOS FUNDAMENTAIS

Abstract

In september 2015, some targets were created through the Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs - during the UN General Assembly. Based on this, an Agenda for 2030 was defined, which proposed to 193 countries a Global Plan, composed of 17 Sustainable Development Goals, with 169 targets. Among the objectives outlined, it is important to promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, responsible and inclusive institutions at all levels, themes portrayed by SDG 16,  where the importance of Public Security will be highlighted for the guarantee of SDG 16, seeking to achieve its foundation, purpose and philosophical understanding.
