Abstract

This article aims to describe the importance of public safety learning networks, validated by the results of the Public Security College of Santa Catarina (CSSPPO_SC). This innovative model replaces the figure of the collegiate training secretary that integrates the directors of the four public security institutions in the state (PM, PC, CBM and IGP), formalizing a learning network focused on the integration and improvement of public security indexes. The results of the theoretical research are presented, through bibliographic and documentary review, and by field research, through observation, questionnaire and interviews with the members of the collegiate. The results show that an interorganizational learning network formed by CSSPPO_SC has more effective results for public security actions and, consequently, for a Santa Catarina society.
