The use of cognitive-behavioral (CBT) in promoting the psychic health of profesionals from the most diverse categories has expanded in the last years. However, military officers have not been the subject of interest of many scholars in the Brazilian context, perhaps due to characteristics traditionally associated with the corporation (hierarchv, discipline, resistance to changes), as well as due to the restriction of access of external people, development of research related to the organization. The objective of this study was to investigate the contribution of cognitive-behavioral therapy of the military police from the consultation of the main databases in the area (Virtual library in health- BVS, Google academic, Pubmed and Scielo), published between 2006 and 2019, in Portuguese, using specific descriptiors. After appliying the inclusion/exclusion criteria, 12 articles were selected. Such survey indicated a scare though growing interest in the subject. However, CBT has not presented itself as a psychological approach that stands out with regard to the promotion of the mental health of military police officers.
