Abstract

The theme dealt with was the strategic importance of the academic extension for the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) from the accreditation of the Higher Institute of Police Sciences (ISCP). The overall objective is to demonstrate the strategic importance of extension to the PMDF to elevate ISCP. As specific objectives, know and analyze the teaching in PMDF and its history and; relate PMDF end activity with academic extension. Documentary and bibliographical analysis was used. The extension in the PMDF occurs in the end activity and in the social actions practiced in the institution through the creation of extension nuclei. As a result, it is essential to adopt measures to relate ISCP teaching and research with the PMDF operational area.
